“We’re going to treat this day like we did the Superbowl last year,” said Aaron Lamarca, Bocce Club Pizza co-owner on Hertel. “We are a sports city. Buffalo is passionate about its teams and they are passionate about local restaurants.

The pizzeria is located at 1488, avenue Hertel. With at least 14 different types of pizza, they offer 33 types of chicken wings. The Bocce brand is a staple in Western New York. It has a history that goes back decades.

“It’s been in business for nearly 75 years and it really hasn’t deviated from the original since it opened,” Lamarca said. “We have an 18 inch pizza, some pizzerias make 16. Our standard pizza, a large pizza, is 18 inches. We make crustless pizza. we bring our sauce and ingredients to the edge.
