USA Wrestling announced on Tuesday that it is moving the Bill Farrell Memorial International to the UNI Dome in Cedar Falls, Iowa on April 1-2, where it will be held alongside one of USA Wrestling’s biggest tournaments of the year, Folkstyle Nationals and the Boys’ National High School Recruiting Showcase.

All of the weekend’s action will be streamed live on

For over 60 years, the New York Athletic Club has hosted the annual NYAC Holiday International Wrestling Championships, now known as the Bill Farrell Memorial International Open, named for the late Bill Farrell, former NYAC Wrestling president and trainer 1972 Olympics.

The event will serve as the selection tournament for the Senior 2022 Pan American Greco-Roman Wrestling Team as well as qualification for the World Team Trials Challenge 2022 tournament at freestyle men, female freestyle and Greco-Roman. In all three styles, the highest ranked US athlete at the event who has not yet qualified will win a bid for the WTT Challenge tournament.

Registration is now open to all athletes and coaches. The deadline to register without penalty is March 29. No refund will be available in case of failure of the competition.

Registration is $75 per style, or $65 or style with hotel code. Late registration after March 29 is $85 per style. All registrations, including late registrations, must be done online.

Receive $10 off your entry fee when you book a hotel room through USA Wrestling’s hotel reservation link. Athletes must first book their hotel room and use the hotel confirmation number to receive a discount on registration. No partial refund will be given if you register without the hotel code.
