Burnley expected to return to the Premier League with an away game against the Champions Manchester city between June 19 and June 21.

The Clarets were in great shape before the league shutdown in March, winning four of their last seven top-tier matches, remaining undefeated in the process.

Barnes is a major doubt to feature against City as the forward recovers from the hernia operation he underwent earlier this year. The 30-year-old hasn’t played for the Clarets since New Years Day but is expected to play a role in the final weeks of the season.
